Southern Girls Challenge: Use Die Cuts

Hi

It's time for a new challenge over at the Southern Girls Challenge blog, we do hope you can join in.

This week's theme is die cuts.

And our fabulous sponsors are:  Krater's Cart  and  All Dressed Up

Here I have used an index card as my base and added to that a mono print I made using a beech tree die cut.

I cut the girl out of a magazine and added some Tim Holtz die cut butterfly wings to her.

I then cut out the shape of the wings from some gold mono print roll off paper using a base wing die from Tim Holtz.

I stamped the Believe from an Altenew alphabet stamp, added some white splatters and voila an urban fairy taking a walk in the trees.

Here is the video showing how I made this Urban Fairy Art Card.

Good Luck Everyone.

Thanks for stopping by and as always keep well

Southern Girls Challenge: Circle Shaped Embellies

Hello and welcome to my part of the blogosphere.

Today I'm posting a tunnel card made for the challenge over at the Southern Girls challenge blog.

The theme is: Circle Shaped Embellies
And our sponsors are: Krafters Cart and All Dressed Up

The paper I used on the tunnel card are G45 Ladies Diary. I love graphic 45 and I wish I had more in my stash, one can dream lols.

The tunnel card is 6x6 inches. I cut out a lot of flowers and elements. I used a die to cut the windows in two of the three layers

I used two of the chipboard elements the frame and smallest clock to add to the card.

I cut out the lady from the front of the DP pad  making the most of the 12x12 paper pad.

I had lots of fun making this tunnel card and I hope you join in with the challenge on the challenge blog this week.

As always, keep well until next time.

Southern Girls Challenge - Anything Goes

Hello and welcome to my part of the blogosphere.

Today I'm bringing to you a Junkish Journal made for this weeks challenge over at the Southern Girls   Blog.

The theme is: Anything Goes
And our sponsors are: Paper Nest Dolls and Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

The digi stamp I used is Elf Emma w/Lights from Paper Nest Dolls and very cute she is too.

Junkish Journal

I used a few copics to color her in as logged in the photograph on the right, but I may be a bit rusty in using my copic pens. I also added some snow writer to the hat and boots and some wink of stella clear to the lights.

The tag, dangle, ribbon and bling were all RAK'd me just recently so they are now my stash items and the die is from my local craft store.

The journal itself is made from a page taken out of a doodle coloring in book, some scraps of design paper, paper bags, book paper and anything I have left on my desk.
It's bound with elastic that is tied with elastic cord.

Link to my YT channel showing how I made the journal.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to join in with the fun.

#WeShallRememberThem

Good Day Crafty Chums,

I have a mixed media altered frame to share with you today. I always art something on Remembrance Day and this year I altered a frame. I used mop up book paper, the negative space from a die cut, a RAKd burlap bag and Sheena Douglas stamps and some glitter. Oh yes and a ring pull from a can to hang the frame by.

Thanks for stopping by

Romani/Gypsy Wagon

G'day Crafty Chums.

It's been a while since I posted a project fully envisioned and carried out by me myself I. It is an up cycled recycled project using a cat food box, lots of glue, design paper and die cuts... I loved making this one and can envision myself doing more in 2018. The size of the box would allow a 7"x7" album which I may or may not make in a future project.

So here it is.

Thanks for stopping by

Southern Girls Challenge - Add A Sticker

A big hello and a very warm welcome to my part of blogging heaven.

Today I'm sharing with you my first ever post for the Southern Girls Challenge.

Our theme is: Add A Sticker
Our Sponsor is: 2cuteink

So here is my mixed media ATC (Artists Trading Card) it's a 2.5" x 3.5" piece purely for fun.

Being a mixed media ATC I get to put all my scraps from bigger projects on to it in many layers that are too numerous to mention in one small blog post.

I have used two lots of stickers this time, the flowers and the butterfly. As both were gifted to me in a RAK I am uncertain of their pedigree. But you may also be able to see die cuts, lace, a sentiment I stamped myself and squiggly paint lines from some posca paint pens.

Thank you all for stopping by.
Please leave me a kind comment and I hope you decide to join in with the challenge.

As always
Keep Well
